Thanks for last summer´s time at Höll-residency. Me and my family had a great time in Seydisfjördur thanks to you all at the Skaftfell. I would like to ask if you have any room for coming summer? This time we are a small theatre-group (two families 4 adults 4 children) arriving in Iceland 29.6. and leaving 29.7. Our aim is to create connections with icelandic theatre life and also start one theatreproject in Iceland. We would need a place to work and stay. Do you have room for us or do you know any available house to rent?

I am seeking a residency in the south of Iceland to finish the work on a fineart photography book, in danish called “Sindbilleder”.I had planned a visit to your country this summer, but in light of the geothermal happenings in South Iceland maybe this is not possible?

Regarding the eruption there is now way of knowing how long it will last – but this is not really affecting every day life here, apart from the lives of the people living directly under the volcano!
I am not familiar with any residencies in that aria but I would recomend you go to the website of the Icelandic association of Artists, the have a listing of the residencies in Iceland. http://www.sim.is

Hello Ari – nice to hear from you again.
unfortunately we do not have any space available this summer and I know that there is shortage of short term rental space here in town. July is the most sought after period so I think this would be difficult, but I will ask around and let you know if I come up with something!
