The surroundings and houses close to Skaftell will be transformed into an exhibition venue Saturday November 30 when Ásdís Sif Gunnarsdóttir (IS) will exhibit a large scale outdoor video installation. For the past weeks Gunnarsdóttir has recorded dreamlike and mystical videos that will be projected on snow and together construct a sensuous spectacle. The installation will only be exhibited for one evening.
Furthermora a live stream from the event can be viewed at 18.00-18.15 here: http://new.livestream.com/accounts/430978/events/2571965
Gunnarsdóttir has stayed as artists in residence at Skaftfell in May and November, courtesy of the Nordic Culture Point.
