Ute Kledt & Honey Biba Beckerlee
give an artist’s talk and show their work
At the same time the artists Ute Kledt and Lina Jaros open new exhibitons, Pappies at the West Wall gallery and Beyond the Walls the Bookshop – Projectspace.
Ute Kledt, b. 1963 in Germany. Design studies at the university of applied arts in Konstanz, Germany. From 1994 she works as an designer, painter and fotographer.
Apprenticeship in painting and illustration, for example SOAK Salzburg, (Zygmunt Januszewski / Warsaw, Jacobo Borges / Caracas)
Exhibitons in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
2000 founding the label ANNALOOG “analog” culture.
Ute Kled is an artist in residence at Skaftfell residency in October. www. annaloog.de
Lina Jaros, b. 1981 in Sweeden. She has a diploma from the Royal Academy in Stockholm. She works in photography, creating surreal instalations where the border between nature and man-made environmet dissapear. www.linajaros.com
Lina Jaros is an artist in residence at Skaftfell, the Ironhouse.
Honey Biba Beckerlee, b. 1978 works in the field of visual art with video, performance and installation. She holds an MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of FIne Arts (2008) and an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths College University of London (2006).
Honey Biba Beckerlee is currently at the artsist in residency at Skriduklaustur working on a solo exhibition for Århus Kunstbygning, Denmark.
