Skaftfell warmly welcomes Florin Bobu artist-in-residence for the month of October. Bobu is a Romanian artist and curator who lives and works in Iași. He is a part of 1+1, a not-for-profit organisation with the main purpose of promoting the role of the artist in the Romanian contemporary society by strengthening its social status, by defining the artists’ responsibilities and by supporting artistic practices. 1+1 mediates the production of artistic projects in public/private spaces and encourages the mobility of artists/artworks.
