CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: RESIDENCY AND GROUP EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY FOR IUA FINE ART DEPARTMENT GRADUATES FROM THE YEARS 2017-2022
Skaftfell Center for Visual Art and the fine art department of the Iceland University of the Arts have collaborated for many years. Due to special circumstances both partners have decided to offer artists who graduated from the department in the years 2017-2022 to apply for the Skaftfell residency in the period March 1–28, 2022, along with an exhibition in the Skaftfell gallery from March 26 – May 22, 2022.
Applications are invited either from individual artists with projects for a group exhibition, or from a group of artists proposing a project and group exhibition together.
Expenses covered by Skaftfell: travel (domestic) to Seyðisfjörður, shared accomodation in the Skaftfell residency apartment, material expenses (up to a limit). The Skaftfell residency apartment can host 3-4 individuals.
