Norwegian artists <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leanderdjonne.com\">Leander Dj\u00f8nne,<\/a> staying courtesy of the Nordic Culture Point, will screen selected videos. The talk will be be in English and take approx 90 min.<\/p>\n<h3>Bio<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithlarocque.com\">Faith La Rocque<\/a> is a visual artist living in Toronto, Canada and exhibiting internationally. Her work\u00a0examines aspects of human experience through the use of alternative health therapies as both material and subject matter.\u00a0Recent solo exhibitions include\u00a0Medium, Sister, New York (2015),\u00a0chisel to carve light thoughts\u00a0at De Luca Fine Art, Toronto (2014) and\u00a0High Acceptance, YYZ Artists\u2019 Outlet, Toronto (2013). La Rocque received an M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from Edinburgh College of Art (2006), and a B.F.A. in Art History and Studio Art from Concordia University (2004). She has been awarded numerous grants, including the Joseph S. His work deals with politics, capital, power relations and poetry. He studied at\u00a0Art Academy Oslo; Bergen Academy of Art and Design; St\u00e4delschule Frankfurt am Main, Germany; Art Academy Malm\u00f6, Sweden; and Werner Herzog\u00b4s Rogue Film School, New Jersey. She obtained a BA and MFA at \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieur des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. The connections between music, sound, images and space are some of her concerns and research. The encoding\/decoding\/re-encoding of facts, their dismembering and regrouping is part of her production process.
