Amy Uyeda<\/a><\/strong> (CA), Apolline Fjara<\/strong> (FR), Eva Bjarnad\u00f3ttir<\/a><\/strong> (IS), Labhaoise Ni Shuilleabhain<\/a><\/strong> (IE), Mary Buckland<\/a><\/strong> (CA), Olga Adele<\/strong> (LV), Shanice Tasias<\/a><\/strong> (CH)<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Saturday, March 23, seven artists will present the results of their participation in Printing Matter, a thematic residency organised by Skaftfell in collaboration with the\u00a0Technical Museum of East Iceland<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Skaftfell’s thematic residencies are designed as platforms for knowledge exchange, dialogue, and collaboration between participants.\u00a0For the past three weeks, this fourth edition of Printing Matter has brought together a group of artists from around the world. Under the guidance of \u00a0\u00c5se Eg J\u00f8rgensen<\/strong><\/a>, and assisted by\u00a0Piotr Kolakowski<\/a><\/strong>,<\/a> they have explored the field of artist bookmaking, traditional and experimental printing methods, and techniques for producing print series and multiples.\u00a0They have worked on historic printing machines that were once owned by the artist\u00a0Dieter Roth<\/a><\/strong>, and are now located in the Technical Museum of East Iceland<\/a><\/strong>.
