Art Hub Copenhagen is NAARCA\u2019s Danish partner, and the only member residency located in a major city. It opened in 2019 as a place for artists, curators and creative professionals to gather, network and collaborate.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Jacob Fabricius is the Director of Art Hub Copenhagen. He tells us about Art Hub\u2019s development, including its upcoming move to a new \u2013 old! \u2013 building that\u2019s being refurbished with an emphasis on reuse, recycling and sustainability. Jacob also introduces us to our contributors, S\u00f8ren N\u00f8rkj\u00e6r Bang and Emmy Laura P\u00e9rez Fjalland. S\u00f8ren is a curator with a background in art history and philosophy \u2013 and a passion for architecture \u2013 who now works for Copenhagen Architecture Festival. Emmy is a Danish-Colombian cultural geographer, writer, researcher and teacher with a deep interest in human-landscape relationships.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Emmy and S\u00f8ren explore the potential for more collaborative, humble and regenerative approaches to architecture and planning, the idea of \u201crepair\u201d, and the power of author Ursula K. Le Guin\u2019s \u201ccarrier bag theory of fiction\u201d.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
