Skaftfell Art Center warmly welcomes you to a special exhibition on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Garðar Eymundsson, benefactor and one of the founders of Skaftfell. The exhibition includes works spanning his artistic career, including original drawings from the book Fjallahringur Seyðisfjörður, which was first published by Skaftfell and Roth Publishing in 2009 in collaboration with Björn Roth.

On this significant occasion, Skaftfell is also pleased to announce the launch of the history book Skaftfell: Tilurðarsaga 1996–2008 (Origin Story 1996–2008), written by former director Tinna Guðmundsdóttir.
