This Friday August 25, the web series  ENDZEIT (The End of Time) by the siblings Anna & Jan Groos will be screened at the Skaftfell Residency, Austurvegur 42, 3rd floor at 21.00. The series consists of seven episodes with 15 to 20 minutes each and can be streamed on www.endzeit.at.

Jan Groos (DE) is currently on residency at Skaftfell – Center for Visual Art. He studied art & film in the class of Harun Farocki at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. In collaboration with his sister Anna Groos he works as independent filmmaker with a strong interest in theoretical discourse. ENDZEIT’s fictional character Daniel Reis serves him as a medium for investigating techno-­utopias while on residency at Skaftfell. The research will be integrated into their upcoming feature film, also entitled “ENDZEIT”.
