The Friends of Geiri Association was established in 2026 during the first phase of the Geiri Preservation Project.
Geiri had many friends in Seyðisfjörður and was a well-known figure in the community. Through the Friends of Geiri Association, we aim to build a network of supporters who can follow the preservation project through newsletter updates and help protect and share Geiri’s history and story.
