They are the Ones who Make us is a sound piece based on three short stories written by the artist during the Skaftfell residency.
It was said that on one morning, so early that the waves were still and the water looked like milk there floated towards the shore of a town, quietly, a rowing boat. It floated to the shore and stopped to black sand. On the boat there sat a huge pig with coarse, peach-colored hair and it was tattooed all over.

Henriikka Härkönen (b.1981) is a Finnish artist working mostly with text, performance and installation. She has studied in the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki, Finland, and in the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In recent years she has exhibited her work both in solo exhibitions as well as in various group exhibitions in Finland and in the Netherlands.
