Skaftfell, in collaboration with B?kasafn Sey?isfjar?ar, is excited to announce the Creative Writing course, designed and led by journalist, writer and editor Nanna Vibe Spejlborg Juelsbo.
Nanna has been running Sey?isfj?r?ur Radio Station since 2016 and is the new manager of B?kasafn Sey?isfjar?ar. Her writing course for adults will be offering an opportunity for the experimental and poetic exploration of language.
Course outline: In this 6-week course participants will meet once a week and dive into the practice of creative writing. Each class will focus on a specific theme or subject to explore within the medium of text, working with the techniques of flow writing, framed writing, character building, and more. The course is taught in English, but participants are very welcome to write in their mother tongues. Experienced writers and beginning writers are equally welcome.
