Something will grab my attention. This can be a material, something found in a walk, hand gestures, a certain feeling or shape. During my stay I will find different ways to communicate it through experimentation. With a drawing or sound or a sculpture or an image. Following a thread, don’t know where it leads. Text on notes to a drawing to a sculpture or sculpture to a drawing to a text on notes back to the drawing to a sculpture. Nurture curiosity, always learning. There are no concrete conclusions to the experiments. I often work through different mediums that blend together. My practice is intuition based and the works need enough time to be able to flourish. At the end of my stay I would love to share what I have so far in an open studio setting.
