Norwegian artists collective Tromsø Dollsz Arkestra will host a performance Saturday Nov 12. at 17.00 in the Bookshop-projectspace.
Tromsø Dollsz Arkestra collective is founded on principles of free, pseudo-telepathic noise improvisation. The name is an amalgation of New York Dolls and Sun Ra’s Arkestra, mixing the ethos of punk and cosmic free jazz. Instead of a technical approach to music, they use it as an alternative way of communicating with each other and mapping out space and time. The collective consists of everyone who has played, is playing, or will play with it in the future.
