Jessica Auer (b.1978) is a photographer and visual artist from Montreal, Canada. Her work is broadly concerned with the study of cultural sites, focusing on themes that connect place, journey and cultural experience. Jessica received her MFA in Studio Arts from Concordia University in 2007 and has since exhibited her work in galleries across Canada and abroad. She is a member of the Field Workers artist collective and currently teaches photography at Concordia University in Montreal. In February 2015 she will be presenting a solo exhibition at the Art Museum of Gotland in Visby, Sweden.

GIDEONSSON/LONDRÉ (SE) was formed as a duo in 2009 because of a joint interest in different modes of being. Their working method consists of private investigations, public performances and interventions with the intent to obscure the line between their subjects and the artistic product they create. Central to their work is the notion of the third, referring to that which is created by two individuals, but can’t be attributed to either one of them.
