For the past two weeks Skaftfells first thematic residency, Printing Matter, for practising artists has taken place. The work process focused on printmaking and artists books with the intention to make a platform for exchange, discussion and collaboration between artists from various disciplines. The process is facilitated by Danish artist and graphic designer Åse Eg Jørgensen and Litten Nyström. Nine participants from various countries had the opportunity to work at the Technical Museum in a shared studio space and with access to the printing equipment.
The process has now come to an end and the results will be on display during an open studio and exhibition at the 2nd floor of the Technical Museum Wednesday Feb 15 from 16.00-18.00.
