The artist, born in 1949 has worked as a fisherman most of his adult life. From early childhood he was drawing and painting but not until 2006 did he start painting with oil on canvas, guided by the painter Garðar Eymundsson.
The works in the exhibition are a mixture of remakes of the old masters and the artists own creations.
