[English only] Skaftfell Art Center’s educational program The Young Arctic Creatures Workshop will form part of the pedagogy toolkit that will be published and publicly available in Spring, 2024, by NAARCA, the Nordic Alliance of Artists’ Residencies on Climate Action. The Young Arctic Creatures Workshop [EN]

Skaftfell, in association with BRAS, Múlaþing, and Ströndin Studio, will host an all-day creative workshop with students from Brúarásskóli, on Wednesday, May 3, in Seyðisfjörður. The workshop was designed in connection with the exhibition The Arctic Creatures Revisited, opening at Skaftfell on May 5. The Arctic Creatures artists Hrafnkell Sigurðsson, Óskar Jónasson, and Stefán Jónsson, will work together with local artists Agnieszka Sosnowska, Jessica Auer, and Tess Rivarola, to guide young students on a field trip in Seyðisfjörður, to learn the fundamentals of creating stories using nothing but imagination, inspiration, and creativity.
