Students from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts

The annual “Workshop Seyðisfjörður” began in middle February for the graduating class of fine art art students in the Icelandic Academy of the Arts. The process ends with an exhibition that opens March 1 in Skaftfell. The workshop is a collaboration between the Icelandic Academy of the Arts, the Dieter Roth Academy, the Technical Museum of East Iceland and Skaftfell – Center for Visual Art. Workshop for children and RIFF selection

Guided tour and workshop for families Saturday Nov 9, at 15.00 Hanna Christel Sigurkarlsdóttir, educational manager at Skaftfell, will offer a gudied tour for families through the exhibition “Fancy-Cake in the Sun” followed by a workshop. The event is free of charge, with no age limit but in Icelandic. Everybody is welcome.
