Join us in Herðubreið café from 16:00 to 18:00 to meet the artists and see their work in progress. Nathan Hall. 150 Handkerchiefs, 2018.

Fosshús – Open studio

Composer and artist Nathan Hall will transform the house Brekka (Austurvegur 44b) into an installation called FOSSHÚS. The three floors will have sound and visual works that can be discovered. Works include underwater recordings, musical graphic scores, watercolors, and video performances. Works have all been made in the last two months while on residency at Skaftfell. They are inspired by Dvergasteinn, Buðaráfoss, Steinasafn Petru, and the recent passing of the artist’s grandmother.
