The Bistro and gallery are opening during the following hours during the holidays. 23rd of December: from 15:00 24th of December: Closed 25th of December: Closed 26th of December: from 15:00 31st of December: Closed 1st of January: from 17:00 The other days are open just as usual. The kitchen opens all these day at 17:00 and does not close until 21:00. The Skaftfell office is closed until Jan 5.

The workshop travelled between schools in October 2016 and is designed for students in mid level. Instructor was Ragnheiður Maísól Sturludóttir.
