Thursday January 23, from 16:00 – 20:00 Skaftfell residency, Austurvegur 42, top floor Jens has been in residence at Skaftfell for December and January. It`s the fourth time he is visiting Iceland and the third time he is staying in Seydisfjördur. He will show several new abstract paintings (Skyr-Tempera on plywood), the cardboard work “screen” and a light installation. Homemade rye bread with butter and chocolate cake will be served. Artist Talk #14
Skaftfell is currently hosting five Artists-in-Recidence: Anna Friz from Canada, à se Eg from Denmark, Björn Olsson, Helena Wikström and Gerd Aurell from Sweden. This coming Friday, Sept. 20, they will present their work and subject matter in an Artists Talk at the Bookshop-Projectspace, at 13.00. Light refreshments.
