Students on their final year in the Fine Arts department from the Iceland Academy of the Arts present the exhibition SOÐ (e. stew), in Skaftfell, Seyðisfjörður, East Iceland. This exhibition is the result of the students’ two-week workshop, a collaboration between the Art Academy, the Dieter Roth Academy, Skaftfell – Center for Visual Art and the Technical Museum of East Iceland. Veldi

Veldi is a group exhibition by graduating students from the fine art department at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. The exhibition forms the conclusion of a two week long workshop in Seyðisfjörður. The students got assistance by locals, who have provided them with insight into the town’s diverse industries, fishing, steel forging and wool processing to name a few. The group also got insight into the isolation and uncertainty caused by snowstorms and as a consequence mountain roads being blocked.
