Seyðisfjörður Workshop 2017

Seyðisfjörður Workshop is two week long workshop hosted by the Dieter Roth Academy for students from the fine art department at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. Ongoing is the seventeenth workshop, since 2001, and is guided by Björn Roth and Kristján Steingrímur Jónsson. Artists’ Talk #27

Current artists-in-residence, Helen Nisbet and Jennifer Schmidt, will present their work and practice Wednesday January 18 at 17.00 in the Skaftfell gallery. Helen is a curator and her stay is a part of the Transfer North network. Jennifer is a multi-media artist living whose interest is on questioning the role of visual iconography and repetitive actions within a given environment.
