Tuesday, October 12, 16:30 – 17:30 in Herðubreið Our next artist talk is on Tuesday Oct 12, from 16:30-17:30 in Herðubreið, and everyone is welcome. Skaftfell’s current residency artists Eva Beierheimer (AT/SE) and Samuel Brzeski (UK/NO) will present their artistic practices and talk about their work in Seyðisfjörður. The event is free, and we have coffee and biscuits. Eva Beierheimer is an Austrian artist living and working in Sweden since 2007. Opening on September 25, 16:00-18:00, in Skaftfell´s gallery. The artists will give a guided tour on September 26 at 14:00. The exhibition continues until November 21, 2021. Opening times Mon-Fri 12-18, Sat-Sun 16-18. Entry is through the bistro on the ground floor.   Slóð (Trace) is a joint exhibition by Anna Júlía Friðbjörnsdóttir and Karlotta Blöndal. Their contributions were made separately, but both artists refer with their works to the important archaeological find at Vestdalsheiði in the mountains above Seyðisfjörður.
