Artists-in-Residence Cristina David (RO), Robertas Narkus (LT) & Victoria Brannstrom (DE) will talk about selected works and current projects at Skaftfell, 3rd floor. Both David and Narkus are participating in international projects that Skaftfell is a part of. David is in the project Artists as Agents of Institutional Exchange and Narkus in Climbing Invisible Structures. Brannstrom is stayed for September and October with a grant from the Nordic Culture Point. Climbing Invisible Structures is a curated visual arts residency exchange and exhibition programme organised by the Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts (NAC) (Lithuania), in collaboration with the Office for Contemporary Art Norway, the Nordic Artists Centre Dale (Norway), Skaftfell Center for Visual Art (Iceland), and the Ars Communis Residency Centre YO-YO (Lithuania).
