In her current project ‘Parallel Line Up’ Berlin-based artist Jenny Brockmann investigates environment, its dynamics and how poeple interact with it. She researches volcanic and geological processes that contain either the creation of new landscapes or their destruction. Central to the focus of her work is the examination of how data is collected, moreover how this collection of data and its visualization impacts upon the viewer. Frontiers of Solitude

      Frontiers of Solitude is an international collaboration between artists and arts organizations in three European countries: Skolska 28 (Czech Republic), Atelier Nord (Norway) and Skaftfell. The project encompasses a wide range of activities, including residencies and workshops in each participating country, ending with an exhibition and symposium in Prague in early 2016. This project focuses on current transformations of the landscape and the close connections between our post-industrial civilization and nature.
