The fifteenth Art Academy student group has arrived in Seyðisfjörður

Students from the fine art department at the Iceland Academy of the Arts have arrived for the second time this year to participate in “Workshop Seyðisfjörður”. This is the fifteenth workshop held in Skaftfell and is guided by Björn Roth and Kristján Steingrímur. The duration of the workshop is two weeks and during that time students will share photographs from the process on lhisod.tumblr.com. Students on their final year in the Fine Arts department from the Iceland Academy of the Arts present the exhibition SOÐ (e. stew), in Skaftfell, Seyðisfjörður, East Iceland. This exhibition is the result of the students’ two-week workshop, a collaboration between the Art Academy, the Dieter Roth Academy, Skaftfell – Center for Visual Art and the Technical Museum of East Iceland.
